Hi there! I’m Naomi.

I’m a software engineer at Benchling working to accelerate the pace of biological research by building tools for scientists. I like crafts (software engineering, knitting, painting, baking, woodwork, miniatures, needle felting, bookbinding, you name it), playing board games, reading, learning about biology, and donating to effective charities.

The title of this blog comes from the talk I gave on Webpack at BuzzJS 2017 and ForwardJS 2017. It’s pretty out of date at this point, but if you’d like to see the talk, it’s below.
